Need help with the cost of child care or preschool?
Peppertree Montessori accepts child care assistance through the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE).
You do not need to already be receiving assistance to explore Peppertree. Many working Riverside County families may qualify based on household income and child care need.

Could My Family Qualify?
You may qualify even if you don't think of your family as low income.
For the 2026–2027 program year, RCOE lists a maximum gross household income of $115,637 per year for a family of four. Income limits vary based on family size.
Families must also meet RCOE's child care eligibility requirements, which may include needing care while working, attending school or job training, seeking employment, or other qualifying circumstances. RCOE makes all eligibility and funding decisions.
How to Apply for RCOE
Child Care Assistance
Step 1 — Apply with RCOE
Start by completing RCOE's Early Care and Education Eligibility List application.
Step 2 — RCOE determines eligibility
RCOE will determine whether your family qualifies and whether funding is available. Applying does not guarantee immediate child care assistance.
Step 3 — Choose Peppertree
Once approved, let your RCOE caseworker know you would like to use Peppertree Montessori in Temecula as your child care provider.
Step 4 — We'll help with the rest
RCOE will send the provider documentation to Peppertree, and we'll work directly with RCOE to complete our portion of the process.

Could RCOE Cover My Full Peppertree Tuition?
Yes, in some cases RCOE assistance may cover the full cost of your child's Peppertree tuition.
RCOE determines your child care benefit based on your family's approved child care need. That benefit is then applied toward the cost of your child's enrolled Peppertree schedule.
We have found that some families who receive full RCOE coverage for their approved child care needs have a benefit sufficient to cover 100% of the tuition for their matching Peppertree school schedule, leaving no regular tuition balance for the family.
Every family's authorization is different, so Peppertree cannot guarantee full coverage until we review your RCOE authorization.
